उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने यूपी फ्री लैपटॉप योजना को 10वीं एवं 12वीं कक्षा में न्यूनतम 65% अंक प्राप्त करने वाले छात्रों के लिए शुरू किया है, इस योजना के माध्यम से यूपी सरकार दसवीं तथा 12वीं के छात्रों को मुफ्त में लैपटॉप प्रदान करेगी इस योजना के अंतर्गत पॉलिटेक्निक तथा आईटीआई करने वाले छात्र भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं। योजना का लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए सभी छात्रों को आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर अपना पंजीकरण करवाना होगा।
